Green Police : Envionmental Police

I was researching the internet about green police and found this website called planetgreen.discovery.com. There needs to be more environmental police to help protect out planet. You can have laws but if nobody enforces them than what good are they? I think it is good idea to have police specially trained in environmental laws in order to enforce laws to protect the environment. If we don’t take steps to preserve our planet soon then it will be to late. I think that the green police will also play more important role in the future as they enforce laws and lawmakers see progress then they will make new laws. If nobody enforces the laws now then they will not pursue new tougher laws. There is only about twenty officers in New York City which is very small per capital. That is enough to make a start. They could go after people littering and even expand into smaller business. We all know the EPA is too busy with big business to pay attention to the smaller businesses. The green police certainly with the proper training could try to help the environment by making sure these small businesses are not breaking any environmental laws.
