After an hour of strolling, I decided to go home. My hubby and our daughter, Rachel wanted to eat out, but I told him no because I already thawed some meat out before we left the house. He hurried home because he was hungry and I quickly prepared our dinner. We had a great dinner and I'm glad they love it.

My hubby worked in Oregon where they do a lot of construction inside the houses. Even though he doesn’t do that kind of work because he deals with the customers after the job and not the actual construction work. But, I heard of a lot of retrofitting because his work deals with older buildings that are at risk during an earthquake . This is where I heard a lot about Vibration Isolators where they use a lot of these kind of products.

Since I don’t know anything about them, one time I asked him what does and he said it will help minimize the vibration so the building will have not have any or as much damage. A company that uses these are those who are in the industrial and manufacturing businesses. There’s a lot of uses for vibration isolators and it’s really important to control vibrations during an seismic event. Now I understand why my hubby’s company uses these kind of products because they do a lot of machinery work.

I was gone from home almost the whole day today. I was so glad that my hubby was kind enough to watch our daughter. My friends and I went to goodwill again and I don’t really like to take our daughter there. I was so happy because I bought some really cute stuff for her.

It’s amazing how fast our daughter, Rachel, is growing up. She really likes to play games and was recently asking for better games to play on the computer. She is only four years old, but does really well on the computer. At first she had a hard time controlling the mouse and the cursor. Now though, she is really good finding what she wants and has fun playing different types of games. Some of the games she finds she gets bored with after playing it only once or twice. She asked my hubby to go searching on the internet to see what kids games he would play if he was a kid. So, he went looking for games that feature his favorite cartoon characters. Some games he found looked good, but weren’t very fun when he and Rachel played them. After a little more searching, they found what they were looking for. It was games with the popular Tom and Jerry cartoon characters that are really fun to play. The graphics are amazing and they have so many different games to choose from. Rachel was so excited she didn’t know which games to try out first. My hubby and I were laughing watching her play run jerry run because it looks like the real cartoon she is playing and controlling. These games are easy to learn and challenging at the same time. She really enjoys each games she plays and they all have a fun twist to them. Another game she played was the food free for all that was hilarious to watch and play. These games are perfect for her and will keep her busy having fun whenever she wants to play computer games. I’m going to tell all of my friends and relatives that have young children to check out these games and place called www.tomandjerrygames.co because they are the best I’ve seen on the internet by far.

Our daughter will be turning five years old in a couple of months. Me and my hubby are planning a big party for her. We have lots of friends and Rachel has a lot of friends too and most of them are her classmates. She didn’t asked for a party, but we would like to surprise her. She’s so precious and we know that she will be very happy about our plans. One thing we need to get is the stuff we need like her birthday invitations which will be sent a month before her birthday. My hubby agreed about it and I’m really excited about looking for some personalized birthday invitations. First I need to find some affordable ones because I was thinking of inviting 50 people. My hubby and I are planning to upgrade our cellphone. We just signed up for a new contract and they have some new additional features for cell phones that I like. We decided to get a new one and we are thinking of getting rid of our old iPhone. It’s a waste to just let it sit when in fact I can sell them. I told my hubby about my plans and he totally agreed. It’s has been days now that I was thinking of getting an iPad. I really like the TV ad I saw a couple of days ago. I told my hubby about my plans and he seems okay with it. Right now what I need to do is read some good reviews before I make the final decision. They’re not cheap and that is why I want to make sure about everything before I buy it. Right after we got back she went straight to the bathroom and brushed her teeth. I let her watch a movie for about an hour. The movie ended just about when our dinner started. Since we had a late lunch, we just let daddy eat alone. He wasn’t happy about it, but he understood. Right now, he’s busy playing with our daughter before we go out to run some errands.

I’m getting really excited to get my drivers license soon. My hubby has been giving be driving lessons since I passed the written test to get my permit. I have been wanting to learn how to drive for a long time, but I’m a little nervous because there is so much to learn and I’m still getting used to the roads in Denver and how to get around. Since out daughter was born, there has been many times when I wished I could drive somewhere when my hubby wasn’t around. My hubby is really good driving me where I need to go, however he won’t be around as much after he starts his new job. We have an extra car, but it’s a Firebird that is not a very good first car to drive and doesn’t have room in the backseat for our daughter’s car seat. So, I asked my hubby if we could look for a car to buy for me. He just started a new job and is figuring out our family budget to see if we can afford a car for me. We need to decide how much we can afford when it comes to buying a car for me. Also, there are many different options for loans that all effect the amount we will pay every month. We use an auto loan calculator every time we look at a car I really like to see how much the monthly payment will be depending on the length of term and interest rate. It’s really fun shopping around for my first car. I already have several cars that I would like to buy, but we have to wait until I get my license. In the meantime, it nice to have a simple and quick way to look at the financial part of buying a car to see which ones we can afford.

My hubby and Rachel said that’s cool because I didn’t need to cook anything else and they really liked it. Though I usually get tired if I eat the same food for days, this gets better each day. The only food that I don’t get tired of is eating rice.

Moving In With My Parents

I am moving back in with my parents next month, and I am not looking forward to it. I am in the process of buying a house, and I won’t be able to move into it for another three months. My parents have been very generous in offering to let me live with them, and it was my only choice since I only needed a place to stay for three months. I know I will only be living with my parents for a limited amount of time, but I don’t know if I can even handle them for that long. They tend to meddle in my personal business, and after living on my own for so long I can’t stand it. I made sure to get a clear 4g internet connection so that I can just take my laptop and get out of the house for a while. I am going to try and focus on the good things, like the fact that I will save three months rent money and dinner will be ready when I get home from work every night. If I stay positive and try not to pick at the negatives three months should fly by.

We have a pile of clothes to wash. When I checked Rachel’s playroom it was a mess. I called and asked her if she could clean it up if I will help her. She’s in a good mood so she told me she will. I was glad to hear that and then she asked if she could have some ice cream when we’re done cleaning up her playroom.

My hubby told me that he needs to buy a new pair of shoes. The pair he has right now is worn out and needs to be replaced. We are planning a long week vacation this Spring. One thing we need to have is good some red wing boots for all of us. I went to the store yesterday to look for a sale, but I just can’t find what I like. I went surfing this afternoon and luckily I found this cool place.

I love having parties. I will find any reason I can to have friends over to hang out. For example, last weekend I hosted an Oscar viewing party. I invited all my friends to wear their best attire (black tie optional) and join me for a little red carpet fun while we watched the ceremony on my Direct tv. Talk about a blast! I made sample ballots for everyone to pick their winners. The person with the most correct picks took home a hollow chocolate Oscar statue I found at the local party store. We also had ballots for best and worst dressed where everyone could vote for the party guests they thought were dressed the most and least stylishly. Winners were announced at the end of the party and each of them got a “swag bag” I had put together with silly trinkets and samples. Everyone had a wonderful time and the ladies especially loved having an opportunity to wear their formal dresses a second time. Everyone has those bridesmaids dresses that only get worn once because, let’s face it, who goes anywhere they need formal attire anymore?

I was so glad too because I don’t feel like cooking. I don’t know what to prepare because when I checked the fridge, I saw a couple of leftovers we can eat tonight. I found these articles riding horses in China and I found it very interesting. I always wanted to go there and that is why reading articles about this really interests me. I didn’t know that my hubby likes riding horses when he was a little kid. They lived in the country and most of their neighbors owned a ranch. He wants to teach our daughter how to ride a horse and is really excited about it.

I browsed for some riding articles so I can get some information to share with my hubby. There’s an english vs. wesern riding that I didn’t know about. I will definitely show this to my hubby so he can read all of this stuff. As a rider, you need to have a good saddle and I found out these amerigo saddles that are the best. There’s a place I found that has very competitive prices for amerigo saddles that are very popular.

Burned by Roommates

I have been burned by roommates more times than I would like to admit. It all started my freshman year at Florida State. At first I thought my roommate, Amanda was as sweet as could be. She was polite and kept to herself. We never became great friends while we lived together, but we got along fine. That is, until we were in the process of moving out and she broke the faucet in the bathroom and blamed it on me. The dorm ended up fining me $200 for something I didn’t do. My next roommate, Christina, moved out of our apartment and didn’t give me any notice. I ended up having to pay her share of the rent for two months since I couldn’t find anyone to take her room right away. After that I decided that the only roommate I needed was my clear wireless TV. Living alone has been wonderful so far, and I don’t miss having a roommate at all. I’m glad that I have put those days behind me and I am looking forward to the next chapter in my life.
